The daily complimentary shuttle service from the port was a pleasant surprise, making our arrival smoother amidst heavy bags. We opted for two spacious apartments, equipped with comfortable beds and thoughtful touches like tea and coffee facilities. The highlight was undoubtedly the private balcony offering sea views—perfect for unwinding after a day exploring the island. Housekeeping was efficient, ensuring our space was tidy and well-stocked with free toiletries. While the property may not boast the ultra-modern amenities of high-end resorts, it certainly provides everything necessary for a comfortable stay, including strong Wi-Fi, which suited our remote work needs. Owners Frixos and his family were genuinely dedicated to ensuring we felt at home, contributing greatly to the welcoming atmosphere. Ultimately, Almiriki strikes me as a smart choice for those seeking a blend of convenience, comfort, and local hospitality without breaking the bank—ideal for adventurers or history enthusiasts like myself looking for a base on this beautiful island.
